A gentle, slower paced version of our standard pilates class. Perfect for those who need a more loving, foundational form to their athletic pursuits. Can be beneficial for seniors and those recovering from injuries.
Pilates is an anaerobic, low-impact, resistance training program. A series of floor exercises using resistance bands, rings and small weights. The workout helps build and sculpt the entire body; particularly the pelvic floor, core muscles and back. It gives the body an overall, long lean look, while helping to promote overall strength and stability. Pilates can help with improving posture and flexibility, as stretching the body is vital to overall wellness.
