Mindful Flow (Mixed Levels / Active)

Start your weekend off right with a morning “Mindful Flow” class here at Selah Yoga. What a way to enter into your day! This is a moderate Vinyasa Flow class geared for a variety of levels. A foundation in yoga basics is highly encouraged. The class includes mindful movements connected with the flow of breath.
“Mixed Levels/ Active”- Mixed Levels refers to the class including multiple levels of experience in one class. Active means it includes standing postures and you can get physical fitness benefits from that class.
At Selah Yoga our “Mixed Levels/ Active” means you have a solid basic yoga foundation and are either an intermediate level, advanced level or are transitioning between the levels. The instructor will offer modification options to equip you with the best results possible for your body. Pay close attention to the options and go with the ones that fit your level of ability and body for safety and an overall positive experience. *Not recommended for complete beginners or those with serious injuries or health concerns.*
Ex. Instructor, “Come to downward facing dog. Now, you may roll forward to tabletop, knees down- modified plank or to full plank.” If you know you are not ready for a full plank or are feeling fatigued choose one of the first two options. The instructor will provide many opportunities throughout the class to adjust to your level.
